Osteopath:

An osteopath is a registered healthcare professional who treats musculoskeletal (muscle, bone, and joint) problems using hands-on techniques like stretching, massage, and manipulation to improve mobility, relieve tension, and enhance the body's natural healing process. Osteopathy is a whole-body system of diagnosis and treatment focused on the interconnectedness of the body's structures to restore function and alleviate pain in conditions such as back pain, arthritis, and sports injuries. The way in which an osteopath differs to a Physiotherapist is in the approach to diagnosis, an Osteopath will view pain/an issue in connection to the entire body, a Physiotherapist however will tends to be more targeted and focuses more independently upon the problematic area.

Chiropractors:

Chiropractors are healthcare professionals who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, primarily those affecting the spine, muscles, and joints. They are trained to also use manual therapy, but largely in the form of spinal manipulation, and may also incorporate other treatments like exercise prescription and lifestyle advice to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance general health. While often considered complementary medicine, many chiropractors follow regulated codes of practice to provide safe and effective care for conditions like back pain, neck pain, and sports injuries.
